Annotation: The paper considers the peculiarities of design of fittings for fashionable clothing, haberdashery and footwear. It is noted that in the current conditions of global competition between manufacturers, the use of original solutions in the design of footwear, clothing and haberdashery products, based on the use of new materials, new methods of design and manufacturing, contributes to the successful promotion of goods in the market by expanding the range, creating author’s and mass ultra-fashionable products with unique aesthetic properties. Differences in operating conditions of different groups of fittings and requirements to their performance characteristics are noted. Possible technologies and materials for their manufacture are considered. It is shown that a possible alternative to the technologies used in their production is galvanoplastic shaping of fittings, which has a number of undeniable advantages.
