Annotation: The requirements for fabrics designed for sewing workwear for oil and gas workers are determined. A study was carried out on four tissue samples of various fibrous composition produced by LLC Tchaikovsky Textile Company. We studied the structural characteristics of fabrics, their strength characteristics, the change in linear dimensions after wet processing and drying with ironing, breathability and hygroscopicity, flame retardant and oil-water-repellent properties, as well as antistatic properties. In the research process, standard techniques were used. It has been established that fabric samples Frall Strong 260A RS and Flame Fort 200A RS most fully meet the requirements of operation.
