Annotation: The article presents the results of a study of the characteristics of vapour permeability of materials systems for adaptive clothing of people with motor disabilities. The expediency of experimental evaluation of these indicators for the modern range of jacket fabrics of this target audience has been established. The analysis of the results showed that the value of vapour permeability depends on the structural characteristics and fibrous composition of the material systems and varies in a wide range. A comparative analysis of the characteristics of the vapour permeability of the material systems allows, during confection, to choose a ra-tional option for creating garments that are characterised by high consumer value from the point of view of providing comfortable microclimate conditions of the space under the clothes during operation. The results of experimental studies can be used at the design stage to predict the characteristics of vapour permeability of systems of materials of the jacket assortment of clothing for people with disabilities.
