- Annotation: This article discusses the possibility of using chain linear models to study the kinematics of the movement of actuators of machines with a spatial branched mechanical system. The example of weaving machines shows the effect on kinematics of movement of links of their inertial and dissipative characteristics, driving moment, torque developed by the starting clutch, rigidity of transmission mechanisms. During the studies, chain dynamic models with rigid links, which are connected by elastic dissipative bonds, second-order Lagrange's equations were used.
