Annotation: The article deals with the classification of adaptive clothing, presents the main requirements for design, technology and materials. The conducted analytical study showed that the requirements for special clothing for people with motor disabilities as a tool for medical and social and social rehabilitation are higher than those for healthy people. The leading role of materials in shaping the quality of adaptive clothing is established. The authors identify and systematise the design features of the considered product range in such categories as design, technology, accessories.
