Annotation: The article presents the results of an experimental verification of the reflection of infrared radiation by technical-purpose fabrics. It was shown that the ability to reflect IR radiation depends little on the raw material composition of the tissues, but is mainly determined by the color of the dye. Combinations of colors have been established to ensure both visibility in the infrared range and invisibility, which in combination allows you to imagine the object “broken” into parts. The analysis of the effect of multiple washes on the remission properties of tissues. It has been established that the stability of remission properties is determined mainly by the raw material composition. Of the samples tested, the most resistant are fabrics consisting of a mixture of fibers of 65 % polyester and 35 % cotton. These fabrics maintain retention properties even after 25 washes.
